I Pretty Girls Make Graves erano un gruppo musicale post punk statunitense originari di Seattle attivi tra il 2001 ed il 2007 guidato dalla cantante Andrea Zollo e dal bassista Derek Fudesco già membri in un gruppo locale, The Hookers. Hanno pubblicato 3 album e suonato al Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival nel 2004.

Il nome del gruppo riprende il titolo di una canzone degli Smiths presente sull'album d'esordio omonimo che a sua volta riprendeva una citazione da I vagabondi del Dharma di Jack Kerouac.
